Kwaw Kese
Kwaw Kese has already unleashed a formidable hot and impressive track on to the Ghanaian music industry. But until now, he’s no more shying away from doing his own full-length album, as he is now in studio working on his debut album.

Obrafour’s Execution Diary, a collection of tracks by hiplife stars had a hit track from Kwaw Kese called “Oye Nonsense”. Execution Diary (Page 1) was an innovative release from Obrafour which has brought Kwaw Kese into the limelight.

‘Oye Nonsense’ tells the story of a girl who feels proud and arrogant. In this song, Kwaw Kese advised men who waste their money and time on women who don’t like them that they should put an end to that because it’s 'NONSENSE’.

Kwaw Kese, a shy dude started rapping by doing copyright songs of reggae artistes like Sizzla, Ras Kimono and others, thus he terms his kind of rap as ‘hipragga’. Since the ‘Oye Nonsense’ track came out it has blazed the radio airwaves, parties and social gatherings.

When Ghana Music.Com asked him how he met Obrafour and what he feels about the track now, he said “I was in the studio working with Hammer when Obrafour came in. Hammer told me to do an acappella of the chorus and some few lines of the 1st verse of ‘Oye Nonsense’.”

“Obrafour was in tune with the lyrics and the chorus of the song and asked me to join the Execution Diary train. It was lots of joy for me when he asked me to feature on his compilation album.”

This young lad has performed on memorable shows such as the Ghana 4 Gold launch at the Labadi Beach Hotel and Music Music’s Show at Koforidua and Tema and Nescafe African Revelation.

Kwaw Kese knows and thinks the hiplife industry is growing but some ‘Akwadworo’ artistes who don’t like writing their own lyrics but dubb other people’s songs should put a big stop to it. Also the term “if you don’t pay we don’t play by the DJs” discourages the upcoming artistes from making it big.

For the first time that he partook in the Mr Teen Central, he came out as the winner but was the 1st runner up the following year. He has also appeared at other charity shows.

Kwaw Kese loves playing baseball, listening to music and admiring nature when he’s less busy.

Kwaw Kese thanks the Almighty God for giving him life, his supportive parents, Shushu, Hammer, the Last 2 crew and all his fans for the enormous support they’ve given him.

"Watch out music lovers because am coming out with my own album. Watch out for something more than 'Nonsense' and the continuation. Keep having Kwaw Kese as the best rapper in your mind and expect a boom! or call me on 233 24 4415 025" were his last words.
