2 Toff
Which music group can blend both Ga songs and Twi tunes? I seem to get you people in suspense; the answer is 2 Toff, the toughest from Ga and Twi rap in Ghana. 2 Toff is a new rap duo which has just joined the hiplife wagon.

Currently their new project 'Oblayoo' album is out on the music markets and some of the songs are currently receiving massive airplay. The group which is made up of Red Eye, a member of the Red Squad in the states and Ogunskele, a long pal of Red Eye in the states are currently tearing Ghana apart with their senstional tracks.

The focus remains on Red Eye after he sang the chorus of Tinny’s 'I Believe I Can Fly' and the chorus of 'Odo Ne Asomdwoe' on Hammer’s Sounds Of Our Time Compilation album.

Red Eye was born to the musical Addy family and doubles as a sound engineer and a musician. He had his High school in the states and was also a track runner.

The other member of 2 Toff by name Richard Oguns a.k.a. Ogunskele (a name he had from the blend of the word 'Kele' and his surname) started schooling at New Hope Primary and JSS, and then proceeded to Apam Secondary School. After a year at Cape Coast University, he left for Belview University in U.S.A. Ogunskele has a passion for playing football and listening to music of all genres.

2 Toff began their rap career at early ages performing at most local talent shows in Ghana and other entertainment shows like Fun world, Kiddafest, Miss SSS and Mr. Structure.

The real definition for 2 Toff is the toughest from the Ga and Twi language. I quite recollect last year when they told me “We are hot in Ga and Twi”.

I have had a chance of listening to their promo CDs and gosh it is indeed something else. They featured Castro on ‘Yenabra’, the most air played song. Castro’s voice coupled with Red Eye’s backing vocals and rap from Ogunskele makes it an 'A' one song. Other songs features Okra, LA and Babashanti.

The boys who have been away from the African continent are poised to make it big on the continent. Go for the album and know what the country boys have got for you out there", they both said.

Ogunskele warned all ‘copycats’ who steal instrumental beats of other sound engineers to refrain from such an attitude and since this doesn't augur well for development in the music industry.
2 Toff plans on organizing an inter zonal rap competition among the Senior Secondary Schools to unearth some of the hidden talents in some of the students. There are also plans of setting up an entertainment newspaper.

2 Toff give thanks to God, their fans, their producer Samuel T. Doku, their managers Asiedu and Akonoba, and everyone who has helped in diverse ways.

2 Toff have gradually made waves in the hiplife and are bound to cause a stir in the music industry. It will not come as a surprise to see them on the 'A' list this year.
