Mc Daddy

He came virtually from nowhere. However, the man popularly called Mc Daddy has had Canada at his feet with his lyrics and dynamism on stage. He makes the world go round. In bars, offices, trains, buses and homes in Canada, people talk about him – how he does the amazing things and how he keeps the world guessing.

Mc Daddy, a Ghanaian born Montreal-Canada based artiste started his music career at the age of seven where he used to perform at memorable shows like Fun World and Panafest in Ghana.

Ooh, that is his real name, Isaac Wilson, folks. Rest assured, Mc Daddy is going to get bigger with his album due to come out soon and being recorded at Hit Digital Production and Diaspora Production.

Yeah. All the salty gossip columns ran the line like he “is the next Reggie Rockstone”. He is a good writer who makes brilliant music. Inspired by many big artistes, Mc Daddy is set to go one rung higher in this year.

After his sterling performance at the Miss Ghana-Toronto 2003, he has left a mark in the hearts of most Canadians and Ghanaians in Canada.

With his exquisitely crafted, self-titled album ‘Akwele’ that features hit tracks like Baby Girl and ‘Odo Anba’, there is no doubt he (sometimes called Mr. Sexy Voice) will make it on his own, too.

Unlike many artistes who make it when they are kids, only to fall apart when they grow up, Mc Daddy has catapulted himself to the top of the music scene. If what we saw of him last year was anything to judge by, all eyes will be on him in 2005 and 2006.

He has indeed made a spectacular entry on the vibrant music scene and has not looked back. He has performed exceedingly well and boast incredible a stunning image.

He is embraced in Canada and has become an inspiration to many young people. His future looks bright indeed. The music student of Vanier College in Canada seemed to be on fire in 2004.
