Perhaps when it comes to the biblical saying that, you may see Canaan but never set foot on it, Christiana Love takes the biscuit as far as Ghana Music Awards are concerned. Anytime she releases a hit album, she receives tonnes of nominations for but she is hardly ever adjudged the best. In fact she has only one award out of over a dozen nominations.

This year she increases her tally with as many as 6 nominations. The big question is will this be the year she breaks the GMA jinx? She certainly hopes so: “I thank God and I praise his name for my nominations this year. It seems that each year I get nominated and I hope that I win a lot this year. I believe that anyone can win any of these awards.

There is time for everything, something may belong to you but you may never get the chance to own it.

That’s why I sang a song that literally said I would accept anything good or bad that comes my way.”

She is currently has a joint album with Kweku Gyasi, which is enjoying massive airplay through out the country and already she is back in the studio cooking more hits. “I am currently in the studio and I believe that the new one to come out would also be a bomb. God is using people to do miracles so I am waiting on the lord.”
