    Noble Nketsiah says he is really noble

    Noble Richard Nketsiah (Now, simply NOBLE) is a highly inspirational gospel musician, whose music career took off as a solo artiste in 2001.

    He has previously worked with U.K-based Wayoosi Music, Adomaks Production and Family Tree Entertainment, the label in charge of ‘My Vision’- Noble’s biggest album yet.

    My Vision further raised his brand appeal leading to the launch of his first social responsibility project: 1000-Kids-off-the-Street. He dedicated the album, especially the song, “Mmofra Yi” (Our Children) to street children. Courtesy of this project, he has adopted the Children Home of Hope Orphanage at Cape Coast. He will launch the second phase of 1000-Kids-off-the-Street Project in February 2015.

    Noble has performed in all regions of Ghana and in 8 countries including France, Germany, Italy and Canada. To Noble, his most memorable local performances, was for the ex-President, John Agyekum Kufour, on his 68th Birthday Celebration at the Osu Castle. Due to his remarkably unique performance in the past years, Noble has received a number of awards and recognitions both locally and outside Ghana.

    In September 2006, during the mounting of the 55.5ft KNUST (Ghana) Peace Pole, he was decorated as the Youth Peace Ambassador by the KNUST Peace Secretariat, which is in affiliation with the United Nations. In that same year, he was made the Ambassador for the Ghanaian Community in France (GHACIF); his tenure ending in 2010, having served since 2006.

    Among many awards since 2001, ‘My Vision’ album won him the biggest; winning Gospel Album of the year and Gospel Song of the Year (Se Metease Yi) at the Ghana Music Awards 2006. Same album won the Album of the year in 2007 at the Ceval Gospel Music Award. Noble is now on the Showbiz Africa label.

    SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

    ‘1000-Kids-Off-The-Street’ is Noble’s Social Responsibility, set up to remove 1000 street children out of the streets each year. The project seeks to support street children who do not have responsible guardians. The Project has so far been able to remove quite a number of street children out of the streets and giving them a better life.

    By February 2015, when the second phase of this project kicks off, he will continue an extensive involvement with the community; this time adding speaking engagements, performances and mentoring. He will consciously choose children related issues and take active roles in key issues. He will target to work closely with International bodies associated with this subject.

    Verus Nartey is the MD of Showbiz Africa Ltd. Having worked with a number of top local celebrity brands including Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Nananom, Obour, Noble Nketsiah (his ‘My Vision’ Project) and Samini (for the past 4-years) in the areas of managing their special projects and brand building, he has proven to have good eye for talent development. He managed two of the industry’s all-time biggest tours- Obour’s record 35-destination nationwide tour dubbed ‘Tour Obour.com” in 2005 and Samini’s ‘GH Experience Tour’ in 2009; after Reggie Rockstone’s Vibin’ Tour in 1996.

    Role on the project: Finding potential new businesses and ensuring the business stays healthy and positive. Planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince people to do business with brand Noble; and set targets for sales and support that will continually improve relationships.
