You may not know his name, but you sure know the song ‘Sue’ and ‘ShaShee Wowo’ he has written. Meet Stay Jay, the artiste who thinks been a solo artiste is good because you get to rake away all the money whiles been in a group you get low earnings.

His ‘Sue’ track with Sarkodie wasn't a bad jump start into the Ghanaian music industry and was later featured on Ruff-N-Smooth’s ‘Swagger’.

For some one who sees Kwabena Kwabena and Becca as some of his favourite Ghanaian musicians also day dreams about being the number 1 super star in the world soon.

Signed under Unda One Entertainment, Stay Jay said he does Twi Pop. “Twi Pop as you know is from Tema. We are doing our best to establishing that worldwide”, he said about the Ghanaian music genre from Tema.

Tema has given the music industry lyrical heavyweights like Sarkodie, R2Bees, Nana Boroo and many more. Now singer-songwriter, Stay Jay can be added to the list of artists to rise to fame from the streets of Tema.

This hip life sensation emerged on the scene only two short years ago, but has received rave reviews and recognition from his ‘Shashee Wowo’ song.

“Shashee Wowo is my own language which was coined from a Ga 'Osha She Owo' meaning smelling but reigning or a block headed person. It can be referred to a male or female. It’s just an advice song to abstain from dirty girls and boys, stay with your loved one and not jumping from Kwabena to Kojo”, he said.

Stay Jay is a talented artiste no wonder he is deeply rooted songs of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Usher Raymond, R. Kelly, Celine Dion, D’Banj Ice Prince, Samini, Reggie Rockstone, Becca and Vibz.

Even though his fans have already chosen ‘Sha Shee Wowo’ as the best from his upcoming album, he claims ‘Undercover Love’ featuring Piesie of Vibz firm as his favorite.
