This year’s Ghana Music Awards might be the best Ghana has seen. This is because all the artistes who have been dubbed for this event are in town and are too frantic to rock the many Ghanaians who will throng the Accra International Conference Centre for the annual event.

GH’s finest night club, Aphrodisiac was filled to the brim as sweet and classic music lovers massed the space in the club to mark the Nominee’s Party of the 10th anniversary of the event that was started and still hosted by Charter House.

The VIP of the club collected some of Africa’s and Ghana’s leading young music people who made the night one full of glitz and glamour.

D'Banj and Ikechukwe were drinking Hennessey and Vodka, rubbing shoulders and mingling with people as well as Samini and Jane who gave a strong representation for Ghana’s music celebrities. Even though resident DJ, DJMensa was not there Nii Ayi and the others held the audience to their feet.

Reggie Rockstone, Kubolor, Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson of 'Scorned', Kwaku T, Wande Cole (Nigeria), Bola Ray, Dennis Tawiah (Akwaaba UK), Mimi of Big Brother Africa fame, Cox Tamakloe (Joy FM) and Lungile of Channel O.

In an exclusive interview with Ikechukwe he said, “This is my first time in Ghana, I’ve been looking forward to this and I appreciate all those who love my music and relax themselves with it”.

He added that his up and coming album dubbed “Life and time killz but you won” will be out later this month.

D'Banj said, “I’m much honored to be here. Charlie I love you all”.

Channels O’s Lungile  said “being in Ghana is a beautiful experience. This is my second time and it is a pleasant surprise. Keep on keeping on Ghana”.

If you were at the club on Friday night you will realize that the build up to the main event has been really been solid.

Richard Acheampong, of MTN, title sponsors of GMA said “MTN is committed to bringing quality entertainment to Ghanaians besides supreme services and we hope Saturday at the Conference Centre will be the finest Ghana has seen in recent times.
