Jeremy of YFM and Jessica Opare-Saforo were the mc's for the nite.
The curtain raiser was done by Lil Madame Esi of TV3's Talented Kids fame who did a rendition of Celine Dion's 'A New Day Has Come' which earned her a tremendous applause from the audience.
St. Riyah from Nigeria pulled off a splendid performance with her great 'azonto' moves though obviously the crowd weren't familiar with her songs.
Becca enlightened the stage with her intro. She performed 'Push', 'Fire' which featured both Trigmatic and Samini on stage. After taking the audience through a couple of her songs she introduced 11 year old Abel Amofo who sang Alicia Keys 'No One' beautifully. Becca was indeed one of the star divas of the nite.
Dressed in a wedding gown, Becca continued to perform 'Forever' with Ghanaian actor John Dumelo as his groom. At the end of the performance; Dumelo lifted his bride and then kissed her. This act got the fans screaming and it’s no doubt that it will remain on the lips of many fans for a while.
Ohemaa Mercy brought grace from above with her sensational and powerful songs. She got everyone on their feet.
Whiles other artiste fade away with age, Akosua Agyepong seem to have it all under control. She took the audience down memory lane with her hits like 'Frema' among others. She gave the audience a good dose of her good old dance moves.
Queen of the nite, sexy and sassy Efya was high on her 'cigarette ' song that she used to open up her performance. She pulled off a great act and the audience loved her 'Little Things' song she did on stage.
Unlike the others, Raquel was carried onto the stage by two macho men. She played the drums alongside 'Ohia B3 Y3 Ya' band; she later did 'Sweetio with Sarkodie.
Bertha was faithful to the microphone and also showed us her guitar skills.
Eazzy and Tiffany also graced the concert with their good music which saw Richie and Castro trooping unto the stage respectively.
But Sherifa Gunu and her dancers brought energy onto the stage with music brewed in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The nite also saw saucy girl Mzbel in her flamboyant yellow costume. She performed her latest single 'Get Off My bonnet' amongst other songs.
Mimi seemed to have gained more weight. In between her performance, she apologized for her croaky voice saying “we were rehearsing all night”.
Bino, Empress, Reckless Dolls and Irene Logan were also part of female artists who performed for the good cause - breast cancer awareness!
Although Hype Records, the organizers of the event didn't have a full house, it was a nite of creativity and unadulterated talent from the Ghanaian divas and let’s get prepared for Black Ties concert, the male edition of Red Lipsticks.
