Back In The Day concert was the place to be if you were in the Accra Metropolitan area yesterday.

Every hot old hiplife artiste around took to the Accra International Conference Centre, The Dome stage to perform for over 1,000 fans.

Artists like T-Blaze, VIP, Abrewa Nana, TH 4 Kwages, Joe Frazier, Sonny Achiba, Kontihene, Keteke and more took over the stage with sizzling performances.

Back In The Day concert was just the picture perfect concert when Azigiza Jnr came on stage as the MC for the nite.

With such an A-list lineup, it was expected that there would be a few surprises in store for the thousands of fans that packed the venue as T-Blaze opened the show with his slang Twi raps.

Dogo represented Hammer's Last 2 camp on stage with two songs.

Chicago joined Ex-Doe for a surprise duet of 'Daavi Medekuku' before digging into his own songs.

Hammer and Zapp Mallet were honoured by Empire Entertainment for their immense contribution to hiplife music in Ghana.

It seemed like a regular rocking performance by Tic Tac until he introduced Obrafour for 'Philomena' to share lines of the second verse.

Among the evening highlights was Pastor Lord Kenya who mounted the stage. His entrance alone got every one on their feet as he dished into his classic old songs; before leaving he gave a brief sermon.

Obrafour was another surprise performer of the night as he went through all his songs of his “Pae Mu Ka” album.

The likes of TH 4 Kwages, Abrewa Nana, Joe Frazier, Sonny Achiba, Akatakyie, Keteke and more did well that nite.

“For once I had fun and was able to stand and dance freely without blocking anyone's view”, a female attendant said.

Kudos to Bola Ray for taking that risk of bringing all the old musicians together under one roof for such a fun filled event.
