After having worked on her forthcoming EP called Afrolife, Augustina’s first single Shero is set to be released in November.

Shero, which is the first track of her EP, is a Twi and English song about the ideal woman, which is inspired by the women in Augustina's family as she knows them as loving, reliable, creative, hard working women who are supportive to their husbands and families. What to expect Afrolife, covers the journey of an African locating to West, but staying connected to Africa.

The journey covers issues on love, family and relationships as Augustina experienced in her own life. The language on the EP will be in both Twi and English (also referred to as Twenglish, a blend of English and Twi).

The name Afrolife is also the name of Augustina’s new labelled genre which is a compilation of R&B/Soul, beats, highlife, afropop and reggae. All genres she grew up listening to and have influence on her musical talent.

Augustina is known for giving Highlife classics her own twist, but this time she figured it was time to pay homage to one of her favourite Hiplife groups, R2bees.
