    Vic Mensa confesses his love for Joey B, Sarkodie and M.anifest

    Ghanaian born American hiphop artist, Vic Mensa has disclosed on Beats 1 Radio interview with Ebro Darden about where he’s from, his family and his recent released EP, “There’s A lot Going On”.

    In a 28-minute recorded interview, he shared with fans that he’s originally from Ghana, West Africa and his favourite uncle, Chief Kofi Sammy is a music legend and also part of the Hiplife revolution.

    Talking about Ghana Music, he also shared the limelight on some artists that he will soon be releasing some projects with.

    There’s some we’re working on.. I’ve got love for a couple of artists out there, there’s a dude out there – Joey B, a dude – Sarkodie… M.Anifest is fresh.

    Ebro also shares his connection with Afro Beats and some big names in the Ghana music industry like DJ Black  and Vivian, an Afro Pop star from Senegal.

    The Chicago rapper Vic Mensa premiered a powerful new song titled “16 Shots”, which is dedicated to Laquan McDonald, the Chicago teenager who was shot 16 times in 2014 by police officer Jason Van Dyke.

    Mensa described the hard-hitting record as “self defense.”
