He first released his debut album with the hit track; ‘I have a God in my life’ as a 16 year old.
Now a married man, Albert Collingwoode Williams comes out with a sophore album entitled; JEHOVAH on August 21st, 2010. He worked on this piece together with his dear wife, Grace Collingwoode Williams under the name; COLINWUD.
As a prelude to their album launching, a single, “Mama don’t cry” for mothers was released on May 9th, 2010 (Mother’s day). The single became an instant internet hit. Readers can listen to it on their facebook page; COLINWUD or YouTube (Mothers day song; Colinwud).
The soon to be released album has 12 Soul inspiring tracks on it. Due to their wide range of listeners, the songs on the album are diverse, including traditional African praise and worship, Hip-Gospel (their blend of contemporary gospel music), European and American gospel music.
The couple see music not only as a means of entertaining but ministering to the deepest needs of their listeners through the power of the Holy Spirit like David the Psalmist did. ‘...David would take his harp and play.
