The 25th AGM & Dance Extravaganza is a fundraising event celebrated and organized by all Ghanaian citizens who hail from Kwahu and resident in Canada. They celebrate this under one association known as, KWAHUMAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF TORONTO.
This year’s programme will be far bigger than the previous ones, because they are collaborating with OKWAHU UNION OF NORTH AMERICA, to stage this concert.
The enthusiasm, the event is generating demands the invitation of top musicians and other performers from Ghana to entertain the Ghanaian folks.
The event organizers have therefore thrown a hand of invitation to the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), known in private life as Bice Obour Osei-Kuffour a.k.a Obour, to give a special guest performance.
Alfred Benjamin Crentsil known in the showbiz industry as ‘A B Crentsil’, is a composer, lead vocalist and a guitarist and one of the country’s best known highlife stars. When asked why that name, they explained that, they draw their inspirations from the real life experience that, life is a transition and no one would ever be permanent on this earth. That is why they are Travelers’.
The concert is a live band and the performing musicians will be backed by a band to deliver authentic Ghanaian rhythms abroad. The events will be recorded and later telecasted on television in Ghana.
