What started as a traditional Ghanaian dance, Kpanlogo and originally called Apaa (which means work) in down town Accra area of Bukom and its environs is now an international dance style that startle dance enthusiasts.

This unique form of body expression is not just dominating the dance space but it’s also an influential boost of Ghanaian’s culture and creativity.

This dance trend is worthy of extolment and one way to do this is to create an enabling platform for the dance illustration.

This most sought after platform is what Maxima Integrated Media and Viasat 1 is offering the teeming audience of Views and tunes.

“The show was borne out of the need to raise the Azonto dance bar notches higher and to create a platform of which views and tunes is synonymous with; for music consumers to express themselves through dance” the soft spoken Executive Producer of views and tunes, Mr. Femi Ogundoro said.

Africa’s foremost analysis, rating and feedback TV programme, Views and Tunes produced by Maxima Integrated Media which debut on Ghanaian’s favourite television station, Viasat 1 few months ago, is creating a platform for the demonstration of the Azonto dance in a show tagged “AZONTO and YOU”.

The show is bill to span three (3) regions in Ghana, namely Kumasi, Cape Coast and Accra. On Sunday 19th February 2012, Kumasi will witness the first regional at The Queens Gate restaurant and pub, Kumasi.

The show continues with an escalating momentum at the EL Mina beach, Cape Coast; this will avail Azonto enthusiast in Cape Coast the opportunity to be part of this noble dance expression on 26th February, 2012. Accra will host “AZONTO and YOU” on 4th of March 2012 and the venue is La Badi Beach, Accra.
