It came as no surprise when ‘Fever’ was nominated for the BASS awards which seeks to award the dancehall and reggae artistes in Ghana.

Louisa Fever has been in the music scene since 2011 and has a couple of songs to her credit, one which is ‘Im Your Babe’ featuring IWAN, Dancehall artiste of the Year 2011.

It is also rumored that she is working on her new single with Natural Face, winner of 4syte Music Video awards 2013.

Her manager, Ken stated that she is very excited and optimistic to win her nomination as female vocalist, and glad that the hardwork off her team and herself is acknowledged.

The BASS AWARDS comes off at the National Theater in Accra on 6th July 2013 where African Dancehall and Reggae artistes who have done exceptionally well between 2010 and 2012 will be awarded.

This will be preceded by a nominees jam at the Accra Sports Stadium on 5th July 2013 with performances from artistes including Samini, Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Jupiter and several others.

The BASS Awards is organized by Rackus Productions and powered by Bullhaus Entertainment and Solid Multimedia.
