Award winning contemporary gospel artiste, Cwesi Oteng is billed to perform at the African Gospel Music Awards night in UK.
The program will be held on the 6th of July 2013 at exactly 5pm to 10pm at The Great Hall, Queen Mary, University of London.
Cwesi Oteng who for some time now has become the toast of the contemporary gospel youth in Ghana and across the African continent will be performing with some powerful and talented musicians across Africa on the night.
He will be performing alongside Tahila Crew (Nigeria), Charisma Hanekam (South Africa), Dena Mwana (Dr Congo), Josephine Atanga (Cameroon), Pappy Messages (Dr Congo/UK), Beatrice Muniu (Kenya/UK), PK Boadi (Ghana/UK) and Jay Ess.
It is hoped that Cwesi Oteng sweeps more than three awards including the ultimate award. He has annexed the highest nominations in this year’s award with 5 nominations. He was nominated in the Male Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Event of the Year and West African Artiste of the Year categories.
Speaking to Cwesi Oteng on phone, he told Flex newspaper, “I only need prayers and support from all my fans in this year’s award. They have always done it for me and I know they will do it this time too. I promise them, with their support and vote, I am going to bring home more awards including the ultimate award on the night so they should keep voting for me on www.africangospelmusicawards.com” Cwesi Oteng requested.
