    Solomon Wunibee "The Psalmist" up for Black Canadian Awards

    Solomon Wunibee "The Psalmist" has received a nomination for this year’s Black Canadian Awards in the category of “Best Gospel Act.”

    The category recognizes musicians serving urban gospel music audiences nationwide and The Psalmist fits in that category.

    “This is a tremendous bestowed honor on me and I’m humbled by the nomination”, The Psalmist said.

    The Ghanaian born but Canada based artiste who recently released his ‘Mugode (Thank You Baba God)’ from his second album titled ‘Red’ expressed his excitement about the nomination and his chances of winning the award from his “rivals”.

    The award ceremony will be happening on June 6 at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Toronto, Canada and it is The Psalmist prayer he wins against Felicia Nelson, Shopé, Donnett Thompson-Hall, Londa Larmond and Icha Kavons.
