A famous Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Obour, has been refused entry into Finland to perform in an event called “World Village Festival”.

The reason, according to Finnish Embassy officials, was because Obour’s crew which numbers 15 performers was too many for just a day’s performance.

The development has left many Ghanaians in Finland, many of whom had never seen Obour and was eager to see him perform, bitterly disappointed.

Obour won the Best Song for Development Award at this year’s Ghana Music Awards with his road safety song.

Last year, Obour organized a peace walk dubbed “I Ghana Peace Walk” in Bolgatanga to create more awareness about the need for peace during the December elections.

Obour during the walk cautioned politicians not to think that they could rely on the youth to cause civil unrest and stir up violence.
