Abrantie’s live musical performance forms part of activities to celebrate the Oguaa Fetu Afahye which is under the theme: “Harnessing the Human Resource Potential of Cape Coast Youth in Oguaa State for Effective Development”.

The evergreen Abrantie Amakye Dede who has carved a niche for himself as one of Ghana’s best highlife musicians, will rock the audience with great love tunes that were hits in the 80s and 90s.

The event will be a night of fun and glamour for music fans that will troop to the Cape Coast Town Hall to watch the evergreen highlife music icon live on stage.

The concert, according to a number of music fans in Cape Coast, is going to be the biggest and most authentic highlife musical concert which will also bring together families, corporate institutions, individuals and lovers of highlife to celebrate genuine Ghanaian highlife music at the Oguaa Festival.

The king of highlife music, who will perform most of his favourites, has promised to put on the best show ever as he takes patrons down memory lane with songs like ‘Iron Boy’, ‘Bebrebe’, and ‘Su Fre Wo Nyame’, amongst others.

In Amakye Dede’s own words, “If you miss this jam, it is at your own peril since it will be serious. This show is meant to relax lovers as they enjoy good music from me and my High Kings Band.

From 7:00pm, when the band strikes the first note, patrons are guaranteed a session of “Serious” dance. Music fans can now look forward to a night of quality entertainment tomorrow at the Cape Coast Town Hall.

The Ogua Festival musical jam with Abrantie Amakye Dede is a perfect occasion for mature audiences who want to enjoy great music and dance.
