Ghanaian-Nigerian-Lebanese artist Elsie Raad is thrilled to announce the release of her highly anticipated first single of the year, “RUN”. The new track, which promises to captivate listeners with its unique sound and compelling lyrics, will officially drop on 21st May 2025.
Following the success of her releases last year,”‘26” and Mensei Da, Elsie Raad is ready to take things to the next level with this single. This song showcases the intricacies of Raad’s sound and how far she is willing to go with it.
“Working with creatives such as Mike Mills on the production, Bobby E.M.A on the mix and mastering, fale coming through with an incredible touch of her amazing extra vocals to complete the song, and last but not the least, JiggyNintendo on the incredible cover art images as well as design was such an eye opening experience for me. “This song is inspired by profound grief and represents loss, recognizing your own power and knowing when to take it back,” said Elsie Raad.
