USA based Ghanaian rapper & singer, Jay Baba has been putting finishing touches on his next album, but wants to treat his fans to a welcome surprise in the form of a new single titled ‘Amarachi’.
Jay Baba stays true to his reputation for interpersonal lyrics and emotionally charged vocals on the new track titled “Amarachi,” where he gives listeners a glimpse into some of the things he’s been struggling with and growing through since we heard from him last.
Amarachi is an igbo name which means ‘God’s Grace’.
Jay Baba was relatively quiet in 2017 due to some personal problems he was having but by God’s grace all is well.
“I will say it’s by God’s grace, I went through some difficult challenges for the past year and that made me put music on hold, but with prayers from family’s and friends, here I am again with a new single. I pray Allah will continue to protect us by his Grace”, briefing Ghana Music.com why he stayed back for some months now.
“So excited. It’s like buying someone a Christmas present in July and you’ve found them the perfect gift and you can’t share it with them and you’re waiting and waiting. It’s been about a year since the songs were written, he said about his excitement.
For now he is working on the music video which will also drop soon.
