It’s no secret that most relationships between celebrities especially musicians and their managers are often passionate with a number of such artist-manager relationships ending in breakups.
According to artiste manager, Fred Baah popularly known as Lovings, female artists are hard to handle but they work well when they’re in relationships with their managers than with someone else.
He explained that the concentration of the female musician is always on her lover and she would often take orders from him than from her manager, making things difficult for the manager.
“When a female artiste has a broke boyfriend, she will spend all the money she earns on him. There will always be confusion between a female artiste and her manager if he is not the boyfriend,” he said.
Lovings also pointed out that female artists often expend their emotions on their lovers than on their music.
“Only a few female artists can stand the test of time in such situations. The case is even worse if such boyfriends are jealous. The female artists will virtually listen to the boyfriend and not the manager,” he said.
According to him, a female artiste who is not in a relationship always works hard to get the job done because music is the sole focus.
“That is not to say that female artists who are not dating their managers are bad because I know there are those who know how to draw the line between work and pleasure.
“However, when you meet those who lack such understanding, it gets hard managing them and professionally handling things,” he stated.
