Gideon Owusu to hold a workshop for young artistes

Artiste manager, Gideon Owuwu who is also known as Peso Goodman has announced plans of hosting a capacity-building workshop for new artists.

The workshop is in line with his vision to ensure that new artists in the country acquire basic skills in music to enable them to meet the challenges ahead of them.

The date and venue for the workshop according to him will be announced very soon.

“The workshop will expose new artistes to diverse opportunities available to them while gaining a deep insight into the music landscape in Ghana and other countries,” he said.

He noted that the yet-to-be-organized music workshop will help music stakeholders to adopt strategies that will help them to push Ghanaian music to the global market.

It will feature some of the most seasoned music personalities in Ghana who will share ideas, principles, and experiences they have acquired within the music circuit over the years.

Topics to be treated at the workshop are rudiments of music production, show business, artiste and media relations, music distribution, promotion and marketing among others.
