During the 6th edition of the GUBA Awards held in London over the weekend, the Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts minister, Catherine Afeku made a big announcement.
The minister nominated one Ghanaian artist to serve as the Ghana tourism ambassadors for Europe. This honour fell on 2015 X Factor runners up Reggie N Bollie.
The duo’s nomination is however expected to be gazetted in September when the artistes make a trip to the country.
The GUBA Awards is an annual award scheme that seeks to recognise and celebrate Ghanaians based in the UK for their exploits in their field of choice.
The 2017 GUBA Awards was hosted by Anita Erskine and Eddie Kadi, a U.K based Congolese comedian.
