Worla Quist, Ghana Music - Snr. Writer

It’s that time of the year again when major stakeholders in the Ghanaian music circles converge to honour the most deserving players in the industry.

The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will happen this Saturday 14th April 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center with the aim of rewarding excellence.

Rightly themed “Music Beyond Borders”, Ghana music will be celebrated on its most prestigious night to celebrate major achievements in the year under review.

Ghanaian music, musicians and Ghana influenced music made major headlines across the globe with Stonebwoy’s EOM Album ranking in at 13th position on the Billboard charts.

Sarkodie also won countless awards to make him the most awarded African rapper, with Shatta Wale also being honoured by the International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
