Strongman might currently be having the time of his life as everal celebrities have shown support for him with his ongoing beef with Medikal, the reigning VGMA Rapper of the Year, evidenced by an 80% win in the poll being featured on ghanamusic.com
Medikal started it off with “To Whom It May Concern”. ‘Don’t Try’ is a diss song by Strongman; a reply which tore Medikal apart left, right and centre.
‘The Last Burial’ is also a reply to Strongman’s ‘Don’t Try’ and Strongman has also topped it up with the most trending content on YouTube at the moment, “Immortal”, which were all released on Saturday.
Popular names across diverse fields of play in the media and entertainment industry in Ghana such as Yaa Jackson, Prince David Osei, Yvonne Nelson and Akwaboah have shown massive support for Strongman after the beef began.
However, others have called for a truce between these two rap talents such as Article Wan and Shatta Wale, stating that it’s highly unnecessary given the fact that the likes of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are facing court trials for their own beefs.
Other celebrities like the controversial Afia Schwarzenegger have also used the opportunity to jab stars like Yvonne Nelson and Berla Mundi to concentrate on their lives and relationships rather than taking sides in a beef that doesn’t concern them.
Meanwhile, Patapaa has also released a single, Sure Bet, that allegedly has been tagged as an indirect diss song aimed at Medikal.
Sarkodie also has reacted to both songs which are currently the most discussed topic on Twitter. In Sarkodie’s assertion and advice to both rappers in a post on Twitter he said they should know how to control their ego and that will be their most loyal emotion.
“Rapper Ego”… The most loyal emotion of an Emcee. 😊
