Ulazi, Tyler ICU & DBN Gogo Release Thatha Bamba

The inspiration for the single “THATHA BAMBA” comes from my journey over the last few years, I missed out on so many opportunities. The title of the single “THATHA BAMBA” when broken down means “THATHA” take on more opportunities and stop sleeping on yourself, “BAMBA” hold on to what you have (being talented) and protect it at all costs.

This single is an inspiration to anyone planning on starting something to believe in themselves and take on everything but hold on tight because it will not be easy. I believe this song will be anyone’s go-to song when all hope is lost. I worked with DBN Gogo and Tyler ICU on this project because these are the people who have been giving so many upcoming artists so much hope to keep pushing.

Ulazi Mfana Ka’ma, also known as Ulazi, is a talented South African, producer, and performer. With a music genre that combines jazz, deep house, and afro-fusion rhythms, Ulazi has gained popularity both locally and internationally.

Born in the early 2000s, Ulazi started his musical journey at a young age, participating in local music competitions and joining various music groups. He adopted his stage name, Ulazi, at the age of 16 in 2016.

Besides music, Ulazi has a strong passion for sports, particularly football, cricket, baseball, and basketball. He has played for notable football clubs, including the SuperSport Under 17 team. Ulazi’s aspirations led him to sign with the renowned Mguzuguzu Record Label in 2016, showcasing his unique Ampiano style to a global audience.
