Ras Kuuku honoured in New York by 3G Awards for Excellence in Reggae Music
He is the 1st Reggae Artist from Africa to be recognized and acknowledged by 3G Awards.
Renowned Reggae act, Ras Kuuku, has been honoured in New York by 3G Awards board for his immense contribution to the reggae genre in Ghana.
He debuts as the first Reggae Artist from Africa to be recognised and acknowledged in the 3G Awards scheme under the category of Excellence in Reggae Music.
The 9th edition of the annual 3G Awards in New York was held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 and has become a mega-event with many celebrities, business professionals and Media personalities showing interest.
It was founded in 2009 by 3G Media Group and headed by the Chief Executive Officer; Mr Charles Nimmo Ntiamoah-Mensah aka Mr CNN, the Media Guru/Executive Producer.
The event which unfolded at the Berean Hall, 1661 Boone Ave, Bronx, NY, 10460 was dubbed; “A Night of Heroes” and recognized the sacrifice and dedication of the leading trailblazers of the greater Ghanaian and Global communities.
Hosted by Kwame Kesse of Goldenradio FM, the gathering was clad with diverse celebrities and honorees such as Countryman Songo, Afia Tamakloe, Bill Asamoah, Kofi Adjorlolo, Charles Osei Asibley, Chris Atsu, Prophet Samuel Amoateng, Nikki Samonas, DJ Gem & Alberta Donkor.
Special Guests in attendance were Famod Konneh, John Dumelo, Kofi Boateng, Lawyer Eric Darko, Kwasi Twum Ampofo, among others.
