Sarkodie, in a an interview earlier this morning on Hitz FM’s DaybreakHitz hosted by Andy Dosty has cleared the air on his recent Twitter rants.
The renowned rapper upon being questioned by the host on why he made tweets about dictatorship being the likely leadership style Ghana needs, made clear what he actually meant.
He cited several experiences abroad such as not being able to indiscriminately ease yourself by the roadside although hard pressed or not being able to exceed a certain speed limit while driving on a freeway to North Carolina in the USA, as examples of a mild form of dictatorship that helped to shape the character and actions of those citizens.
He further explained that all these take place in locations where there might not even be strong police presence but instead multiple cameras installed to keep commuters in check.
Drawing from such experiences was the basis to which he made those claims on Twitter and he also admonished Ghanaians to be law abiding in order to promote development and serenity in our environment.
