Arguably the most successful enforcer of the growth of Urban Gospel music in Ghana, Cwesi Oteng, has finally released his highly anticipated, ‘Anthems’ album.
After rocking the entire nation and international charts with back to back hits such as ‘God Dey Bless’, ‘I Win’, ‘Kabiyesi’, ‘Count Your Blessings, among others, he returns with yet another inspiring piece.
This is Cwesi Oteng’s third album following 2009’s ‘Blessed Are They’ (2009) and the 2012 ‘Mercy Project’ (2012).
In his words, Cwesi admits, ‘’I am really excited the album is finally out. This album is from a deep place and so it’s very special to my team and me.
‘It has been a journey of many years of preparation leading to this and so I believe God is going to use it mightily to bless and impact many lives.”
The ‘Anthems’ album was recorded live at the First Love Centre, Legon, and contains songs of identity, hope, salvation and faith in Christ Jesus.
The album, which primarily features Flo’Riva Inc., includes singles ‘Next In Line’, ‘Great Are You Lord’, ‘With Everything’ and ‘My Defence’ which have had rave reviews among fans and received airplay on many Christian and secular radio and TV platforms across Africa and Europe.
