Nigerian/Ghanaian Executive Producer, Song Writer , Entrepreneur Hmusic (Harrison Ekeoma Osondu Iheke) is set to introduce his most ambitious creative vision to date this September with the launch of the Grounded Universe a groundbreaking movement combining music, technology, culture, and community.
The multi-dimensional project will introduce a powerful new single, the launch of the innovative Hmusic App, and a major cultural celebration at the New Jersey Ghana Music Festival in New Jersey, U.S., bringing together African creatives, members of the diaspora, and music lovers for a celebration of African sound, heritage, and innovation.
The Grounded Universe represents Hmusic’s vision of creating more than just music releases. It is an ecosystem designed to connect artists, fans, and communities through authentic storytelling, creative collaboration, and technology that puts independent creators at the center.

At the heart of the movement is Grounded, a powerful new single by Hmusic featuring Mr Raw, Magnito, Eddieblaze, and Kwaku Geezy, produced by acclaimed producer Mekoyo, best known for producing Styl-Plus’ timeless classic “Olufunmi.”
More than a song, Grounded is an anthem of resilience, purpose, identity, and authenticity. The record encourages listeners to remain connected to their roots while navigating personal growth, success, challenges, and the journey of becoming who they are meant to be. The single will be released worldwide in September across all major streaming platforms.
The collaboration brings together respected voices from Ghana and Nigeria, highlighting the strength of African creativity and the global influence of African music. With contributions from artists including Mr Raw, Magnito, Eddieblaze, and Kwaku Geezy, the project reflects a shared commitment to celebrating African excellence and building bridges across borders.
Alongside the single, Hmusic will officially launch the Hmusic App, an all-in-one music platform created to empower artists and music lovers. The platform gives musicians the tools to create, upload, distribute, promote, and grow their careers while allowing fans to discover new talent and connect more deeply with the artists they support.
The launch will be celebrated through the New Jersey Ghana Music Festival, a cultural gathering dedicated to showcasing Ghanaian and African music, food, fashion, heritage, and community. The festival will serve as a meeting point for the African diaspora, bringing together established and emerging talents while highlighting the growing global impact of African entertainment and culture.

“Grounded began as a song, but it evolved into a movement,” says Hmusic (Harrison Ekeoma Osondu Iheke). “I wanted to create something that lives beyond streaming something that gives artists more opportunities, gives fans a deeper connection to music, and uses technology to bring our creative community closer together. Grounded represents where we come from, where we are going, and the power of staying connected to our purpose.”
The launch of the Grounded Universe marks a significant milestone for independent African music, demonstrating how creativity, technology, and cultural experiences can work together to create lasting global impact.
Through music, innovation, and community, Hmusic continues to redefine the role of the modern African creative moving beyond traditional releases to build platforms and experiences that empower artists and inspire audiences worldwide.
Grounded will be available on all major streaming platforms in September.
The Hmusic App will launch on iOS and Android later that month, with the Grounded Universe celebration taking place at the New Jersey Ghana Music Festival in New Jersey, U.S.
