Artiste manager Glozel donates to Accra Psychiatric Hospital

As part of his commitment to support mental health, artiste manager, Thomas Kwadwo Kyei popularly known as Glozel has made a donation to Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

The donation by Glozel, who is the CEO of Glo-Zel group of companies comes at a time when the medical facility has made a public appeal for support.

Glozel mentioned that he was honored to contribute his quota to the well-being of patients and urged the public to offer their little assistance as well.

“It’s unfortunate that as a country, we have not given much attention to mental health, there’s little support as well for the various facilities handling our mental health patients and I hope the situation changes,’ he said.

As an artiste manager, Glozel has worked with a number of musicians and knows very well the showbiz terrain and its weight on the mental health of artists.

He, therefore, challenged, creatives to support the various mental health institutions to provide top-quality service to patients.

“Fame comes with a lot of mental stress which sometimes leads to drug abuse. I don’t want to mention names but we all know how and where some of our esteemed musicians landed.

“In such an unfortunate situation, health facilities such as this are expected to take care of them and they need to be in the best of form to provide quality service,” he said.
