The Afrobeats and Hiplife artist and member of the 99 PHACES collective draws from Ga culture, street experience, and a genuine love for the craft. That combination gives his sound a feel of culture and grounding.
Across his music, Ga, English, and Pidgin move in and out of each other naturally, reflecting an artist who writes the way he thinks and speaks the way he lives. His fusion of Afrobeats, Hiplife, and Trap is ambitious on paper but refreshingly organic in execution.
There is also this energy to his work that comes from an artist who is genuinely engaged with what he is making and not simply fulfilling a sound. Evidently, his most recent release, “Company”, featuring Darkua, is of pure taste.
