Charterhouse, organisers of the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 2026), has announced a change in venue for the 27th edition of the prestigious awards ceremony.
Originally slated for the Palms Convention Centre, the event will now be held at the Grand Arena within the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, May 9, 2026, starting at 7pm.
According to the organisers, the relocation reflects the growing scale and ambition of the TGMA. The Grand Arena offers a larger capacity, cutting-edge technical infrastructure, and greater production flexibility, making it better suited to deliver the world-class experience audiences have come to expect.
Since 2019, the Grand Arena has served as the home of the awards, providing an ideal setting for dynamic staging, seamless broadcast, and enhanced audience engagement.
Charterhouse expressed gratitude to its stakeholders, including headline sponsor Telecel Ghana, government partners, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for their continued support in elevating the event and promoting Ghana’s creative sector.
