Trimaces follows up Bimmer with ‘ATM’
UK-Based Nigerian artist Trimaces, real name Anthony Adugbo, has released a new Afrobeat song titled ATM following off his debut single “Bimmer”.
Trimaces’ Bimmer, made it to the ears of popular A&Rs for the international TV show “The Voice UK”, for which he was invited to join the set for the 2019 premier on the BBC aired show.
Trimaces’ journey into music began during his time in university where he would follow his friend who was a popular artist in his school to go record, he later started to record his own songs using an iPhone app before taking a bold step to professionally record his first studio single “Bando”.
“After the releases of “Bando”, I had people all over my Uni telling me they loved the song and that I should put out more songs,” says Trimaces.
A time where afrobeats would have its various sub-genres like Burna boy’s Afro-fusion or the Alté sounds from the likes of Boj, Santi, Prettyboy Do amongst others Trimaces says he saw it was coming and patiently waited for this “new era”.
“ATM” is a song true to Trimaces’ sound and style and is guaranteed to make you dance.
