Abonda is an Afro-Fusion musician from Ghana. Having been in the music industry for a little over five years now.
Abonda started off his career as a hip-hop styled rapper and was even involved in one of Ghana’s first battle rap events; Lyrical Wars.
After some time rapping, he decided to broaden his skill set and put together a song called ‘Show Me Your Love’ which helped him transition from a rapper to a rapper who sings.
His music inculcates a blend of African sounds with a mix of English, Pidgin, Fante and Twi into his lyrics while rapping and singing.
The popular Ghanaian producer; Guilty Beatz of Akwaaba fame and Abonda have worked together on many projects from the aforementioned Show Me Your Love to their most recent project ‘Slow Down’.
The video for Slow Down was released on the 6th of May 2018 and was directed by Kobe Outta.
