Amerado has released his highly anticipated 8-track EP, “The Price Of Becoming”, a deeply personal project centred on growth, sacrifice, setbacks and the journey towards success.
Released on 28 August 2026, the project features three guest artistes: Nigerian rapper Skales, alongside Ghanaian reggae and dancehall acts Epixode and Ras Kuuku.
“The Price Of Becoming” opens with the title track, “The Price Of Becoming (Mpaebor)”, before moving through songs including “Sika Mframa”, “Chacha”, “Obiaa Nte Mase”, “Fountain”, “Return Of The Lunatic 2” and “Keteke”. The project closes with “Pharaoh Remix”, featuring Epixode and Ras Kuuku.
Produced by talents including MOG Beatz, IzJoe Beatz, ItzCJ Madeit and Shawerz Ebiem, the project explores Highlife, Afrobeats, rap and reggae while highlighting Amerado’s lyrical versatility.
