Onipa is a Ghanaian-European band that exploded onto the European scene in 2018 with a unique fusion of African music and electronics.

Born out of deep collaboration between long time friends KOG and Tom Excell, the 4 piece live show features KOG on vocals, balafon and percussion, Tom Excell on guitar, percussion and electronics, Dwayne Kilvington (Wonky Logic) on synths and MPC and Finn Booth (Nubiyan Twist) on drums.
After a successful first EP in September 2018, co-released by UK afro jazz pioneers Wormfood and French afro-electronic specialists Mawimbi, they follow up with 2 powerful summer singles; ‘Maadi3’ and ‘My Way’.
