London is set for a vibrant cultural celebration as Alordia Promotions UK presents Ghana Independence UK with Nkyinkyim Band on 13 March, starting promptly at 6:00 pm at The Royal Regency.

Renowned for their electrifying live performances, Nkyinkyim Band is one of Ghana’s most exciting contemporary live acts, seamlessly blending Highlife, Afrobeat, Hiplife, Reggae and Palmwine into a high-energy sound that resonates with diverse audiences.

Formed in 2014 and inspired by the Adinkra Nkyinkyim symbol — representing adaptability and transformation — the band has built a strong reputation as a live powerhouse, commanding major stages both in Ghana and internationally.

Recent highlights include headlining the Nkyinkyim X’Perience concert series and touring Uganda in 2025, where the band engaged East African audiences through powerful live performances and meaningful cultural exchange.

Back home, they delivered a standout show at Accra’s National Theatre during Nkyinkyim X’Perience 2025 – The EVIVI Edition, and continued their impressive live run with notable appearances, including New Year’s Eve at Compozers Live in Ghana on 31 December 2025, Open Mic with Nkyinkyim Band on 21 January 2026, and a vibrant Friday night performance at +233 Jazz & Bar Grill on 23 January 2026, with more events lined up for 2026.

Internationally, the band has proudly represented Ghana on global platforms, including a performance at the D’reesha Festival during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

With tickets available on Eventbrite at £30 (Standard), £40 (VIP) and £60 (VVIP), the London show promises an unforgettable night celebrating Ghana’s independence through music and culture.

The event is organised by Alordia Promotions UK and proudly sponsored by Taabea “JAGA 4”, Win Energy Ghana, Koxmet Cocktails, Danmilla Foods and Maxxis Pharmacy, with a special surprise guest artist from Ghana set to join the celebration.
