South African-born, international Amapiano star Drip Gogo has penned down his best work yet with a new AmaPiano banger titledĀ Umkhovu.
Umkhovu, a Zulu term that translates to āzombieā resonates with the progression of the track. This song is inspired by tales of the supernatural and possession that have been passed down from generations, where village members were said to have witnessed witches perform rituals to zombie-fy the deceased and use them to attack village locals.
With a positive spin to the narrative, the song speaks of daily activities performed which are said to invoke oneās ancestral spirits.Ā UmkhovuĀ details these actions and activities as progress alongside an enchanting rhythmic baseline.
