EliAfree, the multitalented Ghanaian artist was been profiled on the VOA radio programme ‘Music Time in Africa’.
During this interview session with Voice Of America local correspondent Eugene Selorm Owusu, EliAFree said he sees music as a gift with an accompanying responsibility of preaching joy and love through it.
The ‘Hueman’ singer divulged that he Started in his local church choir for 7 years and that is the reason why he relates with it most.
“Music seeks to change hearts and minds” is ELiAFree’s mission with his the kind of music he does.

Every music artist has a story and ELiAFree shared his also. He recollected when he was living with his guitarist Ibrahim Kone all because he had to leave home. .
To even exasperate matters, no one was supporting him in his chosen field during this period but there was some good coming.
This good charm came when he wrote ‘Quicksand’ and sent it to Ko-Jo Cue to have a listen. Ko-Jo Cue then forwarded it to then BBnZ Live label mate EL.
The feedback was great and quite unexpected when Ko-Jo Cue communicated EL’s desire to work with him ASAP.
