Daniel Adjei Darko preaches about worshipping God on new album

After some ‘apprenticeship’ studying the Gospel music scene, Daniel Adjei Darko has ‘graduated’ and is ready to release his album.

Gospel musician, Daniel Adjei Darko, better known as Danny, sees humility as an important cloak every Christian must wear and that forms the theme of his newly-released album titled “Worship With”.

He said she will trust God to help him break through in the industry. “I did not know three years ago that I could put words together to make an album not to talk of launching it but here I am today. I know God has great plans for me and in due time, it will manifest.

The eight-track collection will be launched on Sunday, September 10, at the Dunwell Methodist Church, at Santa Maria in Accra. To Danny, it is only God’s grace that has brought him this far and the album launch will be a platform for all to appreciate and adore God for his abundant kindness.

Danny said it will be very difficult for him not to use his voice to tell the world about how wonderful God has been to him.

“My soul will not be at rest if I do not testify about His goodness. There are several ways to do that but for me I want to use the voice He has given me,” he said.

“As we all know, we tell stories through music and the songs on the album I believe will heal someone’s pain. One thing I know for sure is that words in songs work,” he added.

Apart from Daniel Adjei Darko on lead vocals, there are charming contributions from other singers like Obaaba Christy, Shee, Francis Amo, Esther Goodwill and Ruth Agyei.

High-profile instrumentalists on the project include George Forest, Nacy, Akablay and Dominic Quachie (guitar), Dan Grahl (electric bass), Francis Osei (drums) and Osei Tutu (trumpet).

Guest acts expected to support Sir Gabby at the 10.30am launch include Piesie Esther, SP Kofi Sarpong, Nacy, Oheneba Clement , Francis Amo, Patience Nyarko, Isaac Ampong and Joyce Blessing.

Danny is very grateful to his wife – Mama Josephone Osei Bonsu (C. O. P.) who has been very instrumental in also shaping his chirstain and gospel career.
