It’s time – YEYO set to release new music with an eye-popping visualizer

YEYO, a Ghanaian artist who rose to fame five years ago with his standout feature on Sarkodie’s “Biibi Ba,” was immediately recognized as a prodigy in the music scene. Following this breakthrough, he enjoyed major success, captivating audiences with his unique blend of Afrobeats, Hiplife, and Rap, and his raw reflections on the struggles of youth.

After taking a hiatus, YEYO is now back, reasserting his place in the industry with the same powerful storytelling and innovative sound that first brought him into the spotlight.

About YEYO

Osei Prince (born 9 August 1995), known professionally as Yeyo is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter from Tema. Yeyo begun to break the intemet in 2016-2017 by dropping series of freestyles on classic rap beats. He slowly became popular in his city (Tema) and got the people listening because he spoke for the voiceless through his music, earning him the title ‘Voice Of The Streets’.

In 2018 Yeyo released a single “Dadabee with Hard Labour” which got the whole city singing. He also dropped a freestyle with Ghanaian rapper Medikal on YouTube which had the people talking. That same year his hard work and the people’s support earned him a feature on Sarkodie’s song and performed at Rapperholic together after the collaboration.

In 2019 Yeyo dropped a couple of songs and also made appearance on Ghana’s biggest music festival stage (VGMA) along side Sarkodie. He later in the year got nominated in the New Lord category at Ghana’s biggest Music Video Awards (4Syte MVA’s).

His journey has been mind blowing and widely praised.
