Jahreal is his “stage” name which means (God is real) replacing names like (Tite, Lil tit or Sean tit) as most of his friends know him to be called.
A little star among his peers, he had shown love for music and song writing from an early age.
He was born on October 22, 1991 and was named Benjamin Owiredu Somuah. His late Father, Mr. Samuel Somuah was a business man and his late Mother Sarah Naki Somuah was a Restaurateur.
He attended (Mercy Day Care, ELTA Int. School and New Hope) for his basic education and completed Junior High School at Seven Great Princess Academy in 2007.
He then gained admission to St. Peters Senior High School (Nkwetia-Kwahu) that same year. He is now a student of the University of Ghana, Legon.
Jahreal was born into a strong christian family of four (4) siblings, Known as Jahreal is the fourth born among his siblings. He grew the love for Reggae/Dancehall at an early age of 10, when he lost his Mother.
This genre of music became his only source of happiness and companionship. He decided to step into the lime light after the death of his Father (Mr. Samuel Somuah) in 2013.
He was then signed as the first recording act in 2014 at IMG Ent. based in Ghana and SAP Record label based in Austria.
He dropped his first hit single ‘Gyal Dema Ting’ that same year and still keep dropping hits after hits.
