Over the weekend, Eventic GH, organizers of the Volta Music Awards officially launched the first edition of the awards scheme.
The event was also used to and outdoor the list categories and the nominated artistes in each category at SkyPlus Hotel, Ho.
Earning six nominations in the maiden award scheme, Kula topped the list making him the artiste with highest number of nominations on the awards together with rapper Agbeshie.
Undoubtedly a hardworking and dedicated act, Kula has much more to his name than what meets the eye having a relatively laid back pidgin flow on tracks with good on-stage performances to match.

The Volta Music Awards 2018 is scheduled for 10th March, 2018 at the Ho Technical University auditorium with performances by talents from the region.
The awards is an initiative by Eventic GH to award and recognized inputs by musicians, individuals and institutions who are promoting Volta excellence through music.
