Lady Jay releases new music video “We Tried” ft. Ria Boss

It’s been a while since we heard new music coming from Lady Jay. We can tell you that she’s back and better than ever!

For those of you who don’t know her, Lady Nancy Jay Annan Mensah is a Ghanaian singer/songwriter with a unique voice and a sweet sultry undertone in her melodies.

She makes different compositions in various genres like soul, RnB, High life, Afro beat, Afro trap, and Hip-hop. Lady Jay was part of the pidgin music group which included artists like King Ayisoba, YaaPono, Wanlov and many more.

Her first single and video “Venus” was released 2 years ago and featured none other than Sarkodie. Directly after her release she moved to Canada to study Music and recently moved back to Ghana.

Lady Jay is now signed to Wahala Entertainment, a new entertainment company based in Accra. Her new single “We Tried” ft. Ria Boss and produced by Kuvie is now out and is a complete banger!

It’s about putting all your effort in trying to love that special someone but it instead hurts you in the process. The video is set in an enticing dream state and can arouse the best of us.

Lady Jay is now planning to release her long awaited single “This is Africa” in 2019. It features many instruments from around the world and has been backed by the Harmonious Chorale Choir, Kwan Pa, and an Orchestra among many industry professionals.

This is supposed to be the anthem song for Africa and is planned to be a big production.
