The founder and CEO of Jupiter Talents, Emmanuel Owusu Ansah popularly known as Mula says some underground musicians in Ghana are ungrateful.
According to him, their ungratefulness has pushed many record labels away from investing in young talents which is causing a great toll on the industry’s progress.
“Some underground artistes are ungrateful. After supporting them to get into the limelight, they would come back and insult you and that has also stopped those who can help to mind their business.
“I don’t think that attitude should be encouraged since when that happens, it prevents very talented people from getting help, and for our industry, it is always difficult to shine or breakthrough without the right support,” he stated.
A graduate of the Garden City University College in Kumasi where he studied Business Management, Mula established Jupiter Talents, an artiste management company, three years ago to support budding talents.
He pointed out that he established Jupiter Talents because of his growing interest in music and to prevent the situation of young artistes from cutting short their music dreams for lack of support.
“It has not been easy since I started this but I believe that when there is a will, there’s always been a way and that has been my driving force,” he stated.
