Juls Announces New Album With Black Sherif And Projexx Collab “Timing”

Fusion producer Juls is back with his new single, “Timing”, a meditation on family, heritage and making time to cherish our loved ones. Uniting Jamaica and Ghana on wax, the new track features trusted collaborators and long-time friends Black Sherif and Projexx.

It also comes with the announcement that Juls will be releasing his second album, Peace & Love, which comes a staggering 10 years since he first entered the music game. Keen to make it count, the new album is said to feature from Adekunle Gold, Asa, Jaz Karis, Masego, Black Sherif, Wretch32, Ghetts, JayO, Odeal and Nkosazana Daughter as he celebrates the countries that have inspired him over the years, including Nigeria, Brazil, Ghana, Jamaica and the UK.

Speaking on the track, Juls says: “Timing is a record that speaks about trying to make as much time as we can for our loved ones, despite our crazy schedules as artists. It was great collaborating with my brother from my homeland, Black Sherif, and, of course, Projexx, who is like my family; we’ve been creating amazing music over the years. It was a good connection between Ghana and Jamaica because there is a lot of history there culturally, historically and musically as well. I just wanted to blend the cultures together to make a beautiful love song that had elements of highlife and reggae.”
