Over the weekend, Joe Mettle was adjudged the ‘Entertainer Of The Year’ award at the 2nd EMY Africa Awards that was held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel.

Joe Mettle stood tall among the likes of Lil Win, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to win the golden plaque which was determined by votes from the general public and members from the Academy.
Medikal who was nominated for this year’s Exclusive Men of the Year Awards (EMY) in the Discovery of The Year Category lost out.
There were splendid music performances from Efya, Irene Logan, Dela Hayes, Osibisa and flying all the way from Côte d’Ivoire was Freddy Meiway.
