Winner of 3 awards at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Kuami Eugene, has expressed his gratitude towards ace Highlife legend, Amakye Dede, for crowning him as the new king of Highlife Music and supporting the Rockstar Movement.
It was after a dazzling highlife performance with Amakye the ‘Iron Boy’ Dede that Kuami Eugene was called back on stage after getting on his knees and being blessed by the legend only to be once more glorified with a golden crown which signified his dominion over the High life genre.
In Amakye’s own words he said, “I thought highlife music was dead until you showed up and made me know it is still alive. He’s exceptionally good so support him.”
